On this week’s episode we are joined by Sharon Alston. When the Forever Young Festivals began in 2019 it gave Irish retro music fans a chance to spend the weekend in the company of the top music acts from the 80’s and 90’s. We wanted to find out just what it takes to run an event on this scale so who better to talk to than the lady that had the brainwave to run a retro festival. Sharon is the driving force behind the festival that occurs just outside of Dublin, in the beautiful location of Palmerston House, Naas, every July. We discuss the difficulties and hard work in establishing the festival and how Sharon managed to attract top acts to Naas.
